  • Why are my towels yellowing after drying?

    Yellowing of towelling after drying is usually caused by either over drying which also results in roughness to the touch and a shortened product life, or residual chemical being burnt in to the towels.


    To prevent over drying, ensure that the dryer is set to heat up gradually, dry to a level which leaves a small amount of residual moisture (around 5%) and then cool down before the product is emptied.   Machines with moisture control settings are available and can help with this.

    The term G Force relates directly to the amount of water extracted during the spin process. It is not directly related to "spin speed".  It has more to do with the "Diameter" of the wash drum.

    as a point on a small diameter drum and the purple dot as a point in a larger diameter drum, if it is

    turned one revolution, the purple dot travels a longer distance. This means it achieves a higher speed in effect, thus "extracting" more water from a load.
